Director’s Greeting
Hello, I'm Dr. Tamura, the director of Tamura Medical Clinic.
I opened my own practice in Midori Ward, Tokaichiba after working at Showa University Fujigaoka Hospital as a physician, wanting to contribute my efforts to community medicine.
Everyday, I strive to treat as many people as I can so that they remain in good health and keep smiling.
I'm a gastroenterologist specializing in gastroscopy, barium swallow testing, and ultrasonography, but I handle other diseases as well. If the problem lies outside of my field, I will take responsibility in referring my patients to another hospital (or specialist) if necessary.
Lately, medical institutions have been improving remarkably. The use of electronic medical records is now widespread among medical facilities. We don't use them however, as I feel it tends to put our focus on the computer and distract from the patient.
I always look at each patient in the face and listen to what they have to say. I also put a great deal of effort into home care, making it possible to provide care 24 hours a day.
My hope is to help as many people as possible.
